Almost ten years ago I got involved with Mozilla... and all the way back then there was one person who put up with the raw, unguided, and untammed Mozillian that I was. Instrumental to making me a member of the Mozilla community, and someone who became a good friend. Today I thank Kensie.
In 2005 she was best known as "Lucy", administrator for Spread Firefox, and expert in the ways of Firefox support via IRC. Kensie quickly became one of my mentors, and friends. I have a lot of respect for her not only for being a mentor to myself, but a strong community leader, level headed, and the one who explained to my mother that Mozilla is not a crazy cult that I'd gotten involeved with online, but rather a community of people who all work together to improve the web for everyone.
